OS-Planes.info - Photos from trips

26.11.-9.12.2017 Dublin

First trip after very long time brought me to Dublin, this time for language course and for two weeks.

26.11. Flight FR4283 with Ryanair from Bratislava was crowded as usual, but I liked the view from my seat 33A, acft reg. EI-DYE. After departure rwy 04 in Bratislava the floght was routed over Austria, Germany, Netherlands and England and after 2 hoours and 35 minutes we landed rwy 28 in Dublin, in fog and drizzling.

27.11. During lunchbreak I did some walks, this one by the Castle to St. Patrick's cathedral.

28.11. Trinity College with Book of Kells exhibition.

29.11. Walk to the port and around the Liffey river.

30.11. Old Jameson Distillery - not functional (they moved it to Cork), but still very nice visit with perfect guide.

2.12. Morning - spotting at the airport, near rwy 28 threshold.

2.12. Afternoon - Glendalough is supposed to be a cradle of Cristianity in Ireland with some buildings from this era. There is also very nice walk around the lakes and cliffs.

3.12. Again near rwy 28, this time more to the west to catch some departures.

6.12. Walk from Guinnes brewery to the city center.

7.12. Temple Bar plus one evening photo.

8.12. Last work day in Dublin and a small walk around the city center.

9.12. Way back to Bratislava with Ryanair again, with small delay caused by the fact, that our aircraft got stuck in Manchester and we had to be taken on another plane (reg. EI-DCP). Again seat 33A, again full, but much more interesting traffic around us, with many near flying aircraft.

For the interest - departure from rwy 28, flight time 2:20 and landing at rwy 31 in Bratislava.
